About Mrs. Bunn

Hello, fabulous Barnes families!

 

My name is Hannah Bunn and I am honored to serve as the Library Media Specialist for Barnes Elementary.

 

I attended Oral Roberts University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Early Childhood Education.  I hold active certifications in both specialty areas, and spent nine years as a classroom teacher in Oklahoma before moving to the library.  I have taught 4th and 1st grades, as well as three and four year olds in a public school setting.  I began my master's degree in Library Media & Information Technology at Northeastern State University in the summer of 2020 and am very excited to complete my certification soon.

 

I believe in the power of stories, and love sharing them with my students.  In the library, we read, explore, create, discuss, build and learn.  It is the very best job in the world!

 

I have been married for five years, and my husband and I have two cats.  In my spare time, I love to read, travel, take photos, sing and participate in the community theatre scene.
