School Profile

Barnes Elementary is the oldest elementary school in Owasso. We have a beautiful state-of-the-art facility that will accommodate 750 students.

Barnes Elementary

Barnes currently has approximately 450 students in Pre-K through 5th. Barnes has a wide range of programs including ELD (English Language Development) special education programs as well as housing one of the Gifted and Talented Programs for the district.

We take our school motto, “every child counts” seriously, and provide a curriculum that will provide a framework for academic growth. We are a school-wide Title I program for the upcoming school year. All of our teachers and assistants are highly qualified. Barnes practices Great Expectations' life principles and student leadership is stressed daily. Building successful students who are not only good citizens, but who exhibit leadership and problem-solving skills is a critical part of our school culture.
