Meet Mrs. Smith

ABOUT SCHOOL:

 I graduated from Northeastern State University with my degree in Elementary Education in Spring of 2003. I am certified in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education.

I began teaching right away after college, in the Fall of 2003, at Arrow Springs Elementary in Broken Arrow. In 2004, I moved to Owasso and began teaching at Barnes Elementary and have been here every since! It has been an honor to teach second grade, first grade and Kindergarten here in Owasso. I love teaching very much and am excited to partner with you in your child's education this year.

ABOUT MY FAMILY:

 I married my husband, Shaun, in July of 2003 and we moved to Owasso in 2004. We met when we were children in church when I was 11 years old! We became very good friends and ended up going to high school together.

We now have a son, Parker, who was born in March 2006 and another son, Chandler, who was born in May 2008. Both of my children got to be "Barnes Kids"! We truly love this school!
